New Jersey transplants who met in middle school, Cari and Evyn both dove into the wine industry with their move to Napa. Evyn is a winemaker, Cari handles marketing for a national wine brand. With a tightknit group of local friends, great food and amazing wine are always a part of their social gatherings, often around a firepit. Cari and Evyn opted to host their wedding guests at a friend’s rustic property, the third couple in their group of friends to be married at the Carneros vineyard estate.

Choosing yellow as a cheerful pop of modern color, and with barns and Eucalyptus trees framing the reception area, a mood of sophisticated contemporary style met textural details for a truly personalized and unique palette. Evyn’s custom suit served as a source of inspiration and anchored the look in a deep green tone. A hand-made boutonniere created with feathers provided interest, and a link to the hawks, owls and falcons who were also in attendance.
