As Napa wedding planners, it was hard for us to put together a list of the best Sonoma County and Napa wedding venues. After all, we value tailoring our recommendations to each couple we work with. There are SO many incredible wedding venues here. With that said, there have been a few wedding venues in both Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley that have stood the test of time. From inspired views to top-notch service, if you are searching for a wedding venue in wine country, this is an excellent place to start!
We strongly recommend couples hire a wedding planner before they start their search so that you have the best regional information from which to make your decision. We are incredibly familiar with this region as we both work AND live here. If you are looking for a luxury wedding planner in Napa or Sonoma County, you can learn more about our wedding planning services here at Cole Drake Events, or connect with us directly here.
But enough about us – back to what you came for. Here’s a list of Sonoma County and Napa wedding venues that have taken our breath away time and time again.
Auberge du Soleil
Just 65 miles north of San Francisco, Auberge du Soleil is home to some of the most incredible views in Napa Valley. Even though we have been privileged enough to plan dozens of weddings at this beautiful property, the views of the Mayacamas Mountains from the ceremony deck always leave us speechless. Once you visit the property, you’ll see why it’s considered an iconic Napa Valley wedding venue. We can hardly do it justice with just words.

Beaulieu Garden
Beaulieu Garden is an iconic venue in the heart of wine country. From a sunken garden wedding ceremony to a stunning trellised reception location with expansive vineyard views, Beaulieu Garden offers a unique experience to couples looking to get married in Napa Valley. Beaulieu Garden is home to one of the oldest wine-producing regions of Napa Valley. Perfect for those who appreciate the rich history of the region AND awe-inspired vistas of Up Valley Napa.

Campovida
If you are looking for a wedding venue that boasts rolling vineyard-lined hills for days, sustainable farming and a true connection to the land, Campovida is an expansive family farm just a short drive north from Healdsburg. Depending on your wedding vision, they offer a variety of different wedding ceremony and reception locations including a trellised grap arbor, an outstanding 500 year old Valley Oak tree, an 1890 hop barn, and incredible gardens throughout the property. They book a limited number of weddings per year and are truly one of the most incredible places to say “I Do.”

Solage
A sister property of Auberge du Soleil, Solage sits near the top of our favorite Napa wedding venues. If you are planning a destination wedding and are considering a resort buyout, Solage is the perfect place for you and your guests to spend the entire weekend. You can truly soak up all that Up Valley Napa has to offer. They have recently gone through a renovation and have launched their new pool-side restaurant, Pico. In addition, they’ve added to their event spaces. Their largest event space is the Solstice Event Lawn, seating up to 260 guests. From there, you’ll enjoy the most incredible sunset views that only the west coast can offer in the heart of Up Valley Napa.

Montage Healdsburg
Last but not least, we have absolutely loved working with Montage Healdsburg (and their impeccable team) this past wedding season. Their thoughtful architecture is in harmony with the landscape- some of the buildings are built right around some of the most majestic native oak trees- together with their viticulture program AND their truffle program (they have a truffle dog named Beau and he’s usually at the front door waiting to greet you) make this property a true standout in Sonoma County. With their stellar culinary program headed by renowned Executive Chef, Jaron Dubinsky and the craft beverage program lead by a legend in the craft cocktail scene, Scott Beattie, your food and beverage experience once onsite will be unmatched. Montage Healdsburg is a perfect place to host an intimate gathering to a large affair for up to 350 people.
